Steve Hollingsworth is a Sales Leader’s Sales Leader. From a bag carrier to a sales manager, to a CRO – you name it, he’s done it. At AuctusIQ, Steve consults with CEOs and sales leaders in the areas of sales, sales operations, marketing, business strategy, and development. When “business as usual” isn’t enough to meet revenue and profit goals, Steve helps diagnose and assess organizational competencies and provides the guidance needed to change the outcome.

Before joining AuctusIQ, Steve founded Ottimizzi LLC, a Management, Scientific, and Technical Consulting Services firm. In his role as Principal Consultant, Steve helped a variety of private equity firms, portfolio companies, and global clients transform their Sales, Marketing, and Business Development organizations.

Steve has carried out successful contract engagements for several firms, evaluating their revenue organizations and implementing transformation initiatives to accelerate growth. Among them, Steve served as Interim CEO for BioCatch, the market leader in using behavioral biometrics to detect fraud and identity theft. As Managing Director at The Riverside Company, a private equity firm, he developed and executed successful sustainable growth initiatives.

As Vice President of Global Sales at NeuStar, Steve oversaw revenue for their Internet Infrastructure and Services Groug (IISG), delivering performance, reliability, and security to companies doing business online. In his tenure, Steve increased average productivity per direct sales rep by 66%, and increased average revenue per customer by 22%. 

Steve has worked with private equity firms, portfolio companies, and global clients in professional services, finTech, SAAS, cybersecurity, public relations, logistics, manufacturing, telecommunications, pharmaceutical commercial real estate, and education. He has worked for and with organizations as diverse as America Online, Bain Capital, Comsys, Motorola Solutions, Merck, ICON PLC, Parexel, Compass Learning, Voyager, and others. Steve holds a BS from Frostburg State University and an MBA Magna Cum Laude from Regis University.
